Monica was admitted to practice law by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2015. She joined Halbruner, Hatch & Guise, LLP, as an of-counsel attorney in 2016. Monica focuses her practice on intellectual property and is also the owner and managing attorney of Monica Ugliuzza Law, Inc. – Creative Law Studio, practicing solely in trademark law.
In her practice with Halbruner, Hatch & Guise, LLP, she has managed several trademark portfolios and also worked in business planning, estate planning and general contract drafting. Monica has worked with many Pennsylvania horse farms and race horse breeders in the drafting of specialized equine contracts and in the trademark protection of horse names.

Business Planning – Monica provides clients of Halbruner, Hatch & Guise with legal counsel regarding business formation matters under the Pennsylvania Department of State. She advises businesses, start-ups and individuals on business entity choice and the related state and federal filings.
Equine and General Contract Drafting – Monica works with many clients in the Pennsylvania horse industry in general contract matters and how they relate to the equestrian world. She drafts personalized, sophisticated contracts for equestrians, such as horse sale and purchase, boarding, breeding and stallion service. Monica also provides general contract drafting for all business types.
