Personal Life and Hobbies:
Mary-Jo was born in Philadelphia but spent most of her childhood in the South Hills of Pittsburgh when her family moved to Bethel Park. Another family move, this time to the Reading area, occurred during Mary-Jo’s senior year of high school. After college, Mary-Jo spent several years working as a CPA in Wyomissing, PA and preparing to fulfill her lifelong dream of attending law school. After graduating from Dickinson Law, she made a permanent home in Cumberland County and resides in Camp Hill.
Mary-Jo enjoys working out and is a certified group fitness instructor, currently teaching indoor cycling and Zumba. A former state board member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, she is active in the local Irish community, and participated for over a decade in the planning and execution of the Harrisburg St. Patrick’s Day parade before the city began to host the event in 2017. Mary-Jo enjoys Irish step dancing along with traditional ballroom, swing and Latin. A lover of all music genres, Mary-Jo dabbles in piano and claims that her job working for a record store during high school and college was her second favorite, slightly behind her position here at HH&G!
