Clifton R. Guise was raised in Adams County, Pennsylvania and is a partner with Halbruner, Hatch & Guise, LLP. Mr. Guise practices in the areas of business planning, real estate, corporate, partnership and individual taxation, and intellectual property law. This includes all aspects of business transactions, including the formation of new business entities, advising businesses on matters such as asset purchases and sales, leasing of real estate, and employment matters. Mr. Guise assists business owners in protecting their businesses during times of uncertainty, such as death, dissolution, or retirement. Mr. Guise is also a frequent presenter to professional organizations on Business Succession Planning.

Mr. Guise graduated with a B.S. in Physics from WashingtonCollege, located in Chestertown, Maryland.. Mr. Guise was a member of the Washington College Rugby Club and served as President and match secretary. Mr. Guise then attended the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. While at Dickinson School of Law, Mr. Guise served as a law clerk to Judge Robert Graci of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and received the CALI Award in Partnership Taxation. Additionally, Mr. Guise was a member of the Dickinson School of Law Rugby Club, again fulfilling the duties of Captain, President and Match Secretary. In May 2004, he graduated from the Dickinson School of Law as a member of the Woolsack Society.

Mr. Guise was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2004. Also in 2004, Mr. Guise was admitted as a Patent Attorney, licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office He is admitted to practice before all levels of federal, state and local taxing authorities, including the Internal Revenue Service, United States Tax Court and Pennsylvania tax boards. Mr. Guise is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Dauphin and Cumberland County Bar Associations.

Mr. Guise currently resides in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania with his wife, Jessica and daughter.
